<div>We never thought we’d be in this position, but our sweet pit bull, Nala, is fighting for her life.

<div>Yesterday, Nala was diagnosed with pyometra, a serious and deadly infection of the uterus. The only way to save her is emergency surgery. The vets have told us that time is critical, and without surgery, she won’t make it.

<div>The cost of her surgery and recovery is about $7,000. It’s a number that’s overwhelming for us, but we’re determined to do everything possible to keep her with us.

<div>Nala isn’t “just a dog” to us. She’s family. She has grown up with us, been there through life’s ups and downs, and filled our home with so much love. If you’ve ever met her, you know how gentle and full of life she is.
