<div>About five years ago, I found a little dog wandering alone in the rain. He was scared, soaking wet, and clearly lost. I took him in to foster him, thinking someone would come looking. But no one ever did. Within a week, he had stolen my heart—and I officially adopted him. He’s been by my side ever since.

<div>Recently, things have taken a scary turn.
</div>

<div>A month ago, he needed an unexpected dental procedure and a lot of blood work with still no answers. He’s on daily pain medication to help him throughout the day. After the surgery, my primary vet referred us to MedVet Dayton, hoping they could get to the bottom of it—but they couldn't perform the tests or treatment he needed. We’ve since been referred to MedVet Cincinnati, where he’s now scheduled for a CT scan and another surgery.

<div><strong>They suspect cancer.</strong>

</div>
<div>To say this has been emotionally and financially overwhelming would be an understatement. Between vet visits, tests, procedures, and consultations, the costs have added up quickly. And on top of all of this, I’ve just signed a lease and am in the middle of a move—making an already difficult situation even harder.

<div><strong>I’m doing everything I can to make sure he gets the best possible care.</strong> He’s more than just a pet—he’s my family, my heart, and my little rain-soaked miracle.
