<div>With the heaviest, most broken heart, I have said goodbye to my sweet Leo boy — my love, my best friend, my baby, my shadow, my soul. My days, my home, my everything feels painfully  empty without him.

<div>He fought so hard to come home. I wanted nothing more than to have him back in my arms, but before he could, my brave boy crossed the rainbow bridge.  For almost 10 years, he was my world — my heartbeat, my calm, my constant light, always curled up in my lap or by my side.

<div>I can’t begin to put into words the hole this has left in me. My Charlie boy and I are holding on to each other, taking it one breath at a time, learning how to move through the quiet without him. The silence is so loud.

<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out, prayed, donated, and loved us through this heartbreak. Your kindness gave Leo the chance to fight, and I’ll never forget that. I am holding on to every word of love that has been sent my way.

<div>Yesterday, my life flipped upside down. The last 24 hours have felt like an absolute nightmare.

<div>Leo hasn’t been eating and I took him to the vet for what I assumed would be a normal vet visit, thinking I’d be going home with my baby and some medicine.
</div>

<div>Next thing I know I’m rushing him to the Emergency room for a potential surgery.
</div>
<div>He has some sort of blockage in his intestines and now, overnight has developed a pneumonia. The vets have been taking great care of him and my boy is strong and all I can do at this point is pray that he will get through this. He’s fighting so hard, and I’m doing everything I can — but we need help.

<div>He has been my best friend through so many chapters in my life, and I just need my baby boy back home with me and Charlie. I miss his happy little face, jolly little walk, and his snorts immeasurably. Seeing Charlie look around from him is breaking my heart.

<div>If you know anything about me, it’s likely how much you know Leo is my absolute world. And secondly, how much I never ask for help- but this is the exception.
</div>

<div>His medical bills are already close to $10k. They’re anticipating it doubling. This is a financial burden on myself and I will do whatever it takes to make sure by baby is ok. It’s crazy how life can change so drastically in the blink of any eye.
