Help save my father from COVID

My step dad does not want to seek medical help despite being affected with COVID and preexisting lung damage. The first reason he gave to us is that if he does go to the ER, they will ignore him or leave him to die because of how bad his health is right now. Where he was born and raised, they played favorites when it came to patients. The other reason he gave us is that he believes if he does go, he will not be able to go to work for 5-6 months, maybe longer because we will not be able to afford the anesthetics or pain killers. He is afraid of falling behind on rent (despite the grace period for rent being until February), because we don't have a good relation with our landlord. He does not want our landlord to take advantage of us during this dire situation. My step-dad is undocumented, meaning that he will not receive any sick-leave pay what so ever for needing the life-saving treatment and surgery because he is undocumented, has no identification papers what so ever, and is not under a work union. 

This gofundme is to help my family survive for the 5-6 months that my step dad will not be able to work due to the surgery and medical help he will have to go under. The gofundme amount is about 5 months of rent. We are not sure if the surgery will be fully covered but getting him to agree by seeing that we have a safety net donated by you, is a start. My entire family got infected with COVID since we are a family of 6, living in a small, 2 bedroom, one bathroom house. We are all not working right now, and my step-dad is the major source of income for us. He works 6 days a week from 4:30am-9:pm to support my family.

My step-dad is at a huge risk right now since he has had major lung damage for most of his life. COVID has impacted his health severely within the few days he has had it. He is wheezing a lot, can barely walk, is not sleeping a lot, and is very pale. He needs to see a medical professional soon. He raised me and took care of me when my genetic father could not. He would take me to my university that was four hours away each semester so that I could get my education and bring me back home to see family after every semester. He has worked very hard for my family and has support us so much. I want to repay him for all he has done for us. I have been depressed and crying all week thinking of the worse situation. I have never seen my step-dad this weak in my life. It pained me to see the man who endured getting his lungs drilled into without any pain killers or anesthetics, break down and cry when he found out we had COVID. This is the last resort I was able to think of. Please help contribute to saving my family, I want him to see me graduate. I am going to college for them and I applied to graduate school for them. I want to give them the future I promised  him I will give to my mom and step-dad after I obtained my career.
