Haifa's Story:
My love is always in my heart. As a mother, my children are my world. My name is Haifa Reda, and I am a mother of three beautiful children living in Gaza. Our lives are marked by hunger and poverty, and I am struggling to provide for my children's basic needs. Today, I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help.
Our Story:
In Gaza, we live under incredibly harsh conditions. My children-Aser, who is 8 years old; Cenda, who is 5; and Aseel, who is just 2-bring so much joy to my life, but our situation is dire. We face a daily battle against hunger and lack of resources. My son, Aser, is suffering from severe eye problems that threaten to take away his sight.
Aser's Fight for Sight:
Aser, my sweet and intelligent &-year-old boy, has a severe congenital eye condition. He suffers from extreme weakness in vision, nystagmus (involuntary eye movement), and an absence of the iris. To maintain his vision, he needs medicinal eye drops (Twinzol) twice a day. However, due to the limited availability of medicine in Gaza, Aser has been without his crucial medication for far too long. His condition is worsening, and the fear of him going blind is a constant nightmare for us.
The Innocence and Dreams of a Child:
Aser is a curious and bright second-grader who loves nature and learning. Before the conflict disrupted our lives, he cherished going to school and playing football with the other children. Now, he is cut off from both his education and the medicine he desperately needs. His laughter and dreams are overshadowed by the growing threat of blindness.
A Mother's Desperate Plea:
As his mother, my heart breaks every day. I cry in despair, hoping for a miracle that can save my son's sight. There is a possibility of surgical treatment for his congenital condition, but we need financial support to travel and pay for the surgery. I am reaching out to your compassion and humanity to help us afford Aser's Twinzol medication and potentially save his sight.
