My mother has had chronic asthma since she was two years old, and she follows a course of treatment on a daily and permanent basis and went to the hospital almost every month because of her poor condition, in addition to suffering from nerve infections and herniated discs in the back...
She entered intensive care twice, the last of which was ten days before the war because of a weak heart and pulmonary edema, and she was discharged from intensive care two weeks later, she was supposed to follow up with the doctors to get better and recover, but the war came suddenly

  • The story of my family suffering during the war:

Since the beginning of the war, we bought my mother her medicine in large quantities, fearing that it would be interrupted...
Because of the smell of gunpowder and the dust resulting from the Rockets, my mother's condition worsened, which led to an increase in her consumption of Medicine, and then
Our house was destroyed, after which my whole family was displaced to a asylum school in the city of Jabalia, and after a period of staying at school in the worst conditions, including staying in a tent that does not protect them from the cold or rain, and the scarcity of food and water, the army surrounded them and prevented them from food and water, and after a period of siege, the army stormed the school, arrested my brothers and expelled my mother and sisters from school, preventing them from taking their personal belongings, including my mother's medicine, unfortunately then they set fire to the school, which led to the burning of my mother's medicine with their things and their tent, then my brothers were released,
My brother had a shot in his leg and suffers from difficulty walking due to the lack of Medicine and treatment

Then they were deported from the school to another school south of Gaza city on foot for more than ten kilometers...
Then the army besieged them for the second time and denied them water and food...
After a while, the army left the school, but the lack of food and water was the problem

My little brother and my brother-in-law made a desperate attempt to search for food and water, but unfortunately the army killed them in cold blood, and then my family had to leave Gaza again and return to the north, where they could not bear to stay in the place where my brother and brother-in-law were killed

All this happened, and my mother suffers from the unavailability of her medicine, the martyrdom of my brother and sister-in-law, and the interruption of food made her condition worse and worse...
  • A desperate attempt...
After my mother's medicine burned down, my injured brother tried to look for a similar medicine, but he found nothing, as the northern Gaza Strip is completely besieged, which led to the running out of all medicines and food supplies...

  • A copy of a medical report on my mother's condition (very old because the latter was burned with medicines )

  • Photo of our destroyed house

  • Photo of my brother and sister's husband who were martyred

  • Photos of our Shovel Farm (it was our source of income)

  • Photos of my grades in the last 2 semesters

  • Photos of the family before the war

In my calls with my family, I hear my mother's constant coughing and her inability to speak a result of not taking medication, without which she cannot breathe, and this breaks my heart
All this is experienced by my fifty-one-year-old mother. My mother's illness is getting worse day by day
Also, my brother suffers from constant pain in his foot and difficulty walking because he was not treated properly

  • Your contributions will go to the following:
