<div>Many of you have been following this heartbreaking journey with my mom — and for those who haven’t, she was diagnosed in early September with stage 4 breast cancer that had already spread to her liver. Doctors told us she only had 15–20 days to live.

<div>I immediately told her to come back to California to be with her family. Once she arrived, a doctor in Phoenix reviewed her paperwork and said she was a candidate for treatment. That gave us hope, and I started this GoFundMe — something that was very hard for me to do, but I knew it was our only chance.

<div>We asked for any amount — $1, $5, $10, $100 — because every dollar mattered. Unfortunately, times are hard for everyone, and we weren’t able to raise enough in time to get her into the treatment program.

<div>Weeks later, we rushed her to the UCI emergency room because of unbearable pain, and that’s when we got the worst news… the cancer had spread to her spine. Doctors told us there were no more treatment options — only comfort care.

<div>I refused to give up. I tried everything — peptides, a complete alkaline diet, natural remedies, holistic support — anything to help her fight. My wish was for her to make it to her 70th birthday on October 7th, and she did.

<div>But the next day, everything changed. She declined overnight. The nurse told me words no daughter should ever hear — that I needed to start preparing for a funeral she’s on her last days .

<div>Muchos de ustedes han estado siguiendo este doloroso camino con mi mamá, y para quienes no lo saben, a principios de septiembre le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en etapa 4, que ya se había extendido a su hígado. Los doctores nos dijeron que solo le quedaban 15 a 20 días de vida.

<div>Me negué a rendirme. Hice todo lo posible — le di péptidos, una dieta completamente alcalina, remedios naturales, tratamientos holísticos — todo con la esperanza de ayudarla a luchar. Mi deseo más grande era que llegara a su cumpleaños número 70 el 7 de octubre, y gracias a Dios lo logró.
