URGENT SURGERY NEEDED
Jake, our best friend of 15 years, has fractures in his jaw in four different places. He requires surgery to remove his fractured jaw and to end the pain.
He has dental disease which caused his bones to be very fragile in his jaw. On Friday, September 28th he jumped off the top of the couch and landed on his face, causing the four fractures.
He is still the same spunky, mini Dachshund that we both know and love. His blood work and vitals are still healthy. He is not dying of any illness, he just has serious injury in his jaw that requires surgery to save his life.
The surgery costs at least $6000. We know he is absolutely not ready to go yet.
We would not be posting this unless it was a dire emergency. Jake is a major part of our lives and he has way too much fight in him to leave us too soon.
