Help save my German Shepherd puppy’s life

I'm heartbroken to share that my 6-month-old German Shepherd recently got out of the house and chased a stray dog. Tragically, he was hit by a car. We rushed him to the vet, where we learned he has a broken hip and a shattered pelvis. As a 17-year-old, I can't get a loan to cover the costs, and my parents are already in years of debt. The vet said he needs urgent orthopedic surgery, and without it, he won't survive. We're on our way to the University of Florida in Gainesville for his emergency surgery, but we don't have the funds to cover it. We can't even afford to put him down, which costs $300. The cost of the surgery is uncertain and could range from a minimum of $5,000 to as much as $10,000. Please, if you can, help us save this precious baby. He deserves a chance to live. Thank you.
