Save Usha Rani – A Mother’s Fight Against Cancer

Our family is facing an unimaginable battle, and we need your help. My beloved mother-in-law, Mrs. Usha Rani (61), has been diagnosed with Stage 3, Grade 3 Invasive Breast Cancer, a highly aggressive condition requiring urgent treatment.

She has already undergone a mastectomy (breast removal surgery) at Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, and doctors have now prescribed 8 chemotherapy sessions, followed by 2 rounds of radiation therapy to prevent cancer from spreading further. Without this treatment, her survival chances are critically at risk.

A Family Struggling to Cope

My father-in-law, who earned ₹18,000-₹20,000 INR (~$350 AUD per month), has left his job to care for her full-time as her condition has worsened. As a family, we have given everything we can—my brother-in-law and I have already contributed ₹250,000 INR (~$4,500 AUD) for her surgery.

But the costs of chemotherapy, radiation, tests, medications, and hospital visits are overwhelming. We need to raise $20,000 AUD (₹11 lakh INR) to complete her treatment.
