Hi my name is Paras and my cat’s name is Mew (yes, like the Pokémon lol)

I’m here to ask for any help you can provide to save her please

She consumed a foreign object and is in desperate need of surgery to remove a gastrointestinal obstruction. Estimated cost is $8000+

Mid-April of this year I found this precious kitten alone, in a bush on the side of the road, crying and with cuts on her face. Took her home with the intention rehousing her, long story short; we bonded, she became my companion and I decided to keep her.

It has been quite the learning experience given that she is my first pet. Despite my limited knowledge I try to make sure she has the best I can provide. Unfortunately learning does not happen without lessons.

I learned today that what was sold to me as an insurance plan was actually a wellness plan, they will provide no financial assistance for this situation. My heart is breaking, I don’t know what to do.
