Help Save Maurock Music Academy

We are Maurock Music Academy, a Latino family owned business located in the City of Gardena. Our goal is to bring the wonders of music into communities in need. We offer music lessons for piano, violin, bass, guitar, drums, sax, and voice. We also sell instruments at very affordable prices, and host recitals for students to show their learned skills. 

Because we are considered a non-essential business, and our services are in person, we were hit extra hard during the Corona virus crisis. Recovery will not be quick, as many people are not comfortable enough for in person lessons at the moment. We understand; health and safety come first. But, we also need to keep our business alive to continue serving our community. This is our first family business, and our second year. We have done everything possible to keep paying the bills and stay afloat: we have applied for loans, hosted online music lessons, and sold instruments through online postings. Despite our efforts, we are still in need. We have also suffered financially at home, as this business is our major source of income. We need your help.

Any amount of donation would be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. We are doing everything possible, and your help would contribute immensely. By rescuing our business, we will be able to continue bringing music into low income communities and those in need. We believe everyone deserves an opportunity to experience a love of music, no matter what age, race, gender, or background.

We love bringing a diverse community together. Our family runs the business, and we make sure our customers feel like family too. We strive to make Maurock Music Academy a supportive environment, which is crucial for learning. We love improving and helping our community, but now we need your generous help.
