<div>Ahmed was born in <strong>Gaza, Palestine</strong>, with a rare and complex heart condition called <strong>Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia (TOF-PA)</strong> and major aorto-pulmonary collaterals, along with a right-sided aortic arch.

<div>Since birth, Ahmed has lived with limited oxygen in his blood — every breath is an effort, yet he never stops smiling. His eyes light up when he learns new things, and his joy fills the room even on difficult days.

<div><strong> A Journey Interrupted by War</strong>

</div>
<div>Ahmed was supposed to receive treatment in Israel, but when the war in Gaza began, his chance at surgery disappeared.
</div>
<div>For <strong>six long months</strong>, his mother and siblings endured airstrikes, fear, and displacement. Eventually, they managed to <strong>escape to Egypt</strong>, holding onto one hope — to find a place where Ahmed could finally receive the care he desperately needs.

<div>After months of searching, we were finally able to contact two hospitals that can perform Ahmed’s complex heart surgery:

<li><strong>Deutsches Herzzentrum München (German Heart Center, Munich)</strong>

<div>Both hospitals have reviewed his medical reports and confirmed that they can perform the surgery.

<div>Now, our only barrier is the cost — a combination of <strong>surgery, travel, and post-operative care</strong>, which is beyond what our family can afford alone.
