For over 20 years, LaserShoot has been a beloved entertainment spot on Sydney Harbour, delivering safe, thrilling laser tag experiences to families, friends, and visitors from all over Australia and the world. We've always prioritised fun, safety, and full compliance with regulations, creating joyful memories and strengthening our community bonds.

On December 23, 2025, we received a Notice of Suspension (P485) from the NSW Police Force, which temporarily suspended our firearms permit (Permit No. 41329273) for one year, until December 23, 2026. The stated reason is "Not in Public Interest," related to our use of modified imitation firearms designed exclusively for recreational laser games. These items are built for entertainment only, with no capability to use live ammunition or cause harm, and we've upheld an outstanding safety record throughout our operations.

We respect the authorities and are committed to working through this process constructively. However, we believe this decision may overlook the positive role we play in the community and the safeguards we've always maintained under laws such as the Firearms Act 1996 and the Weapons Prohibition Act 1998. The Marine Area Command and Maritime authorities continue to support our harbour-based activities, and we're grateful for that.

To address this, we're seeking professional legal advice to appeal the suspension through official channels. This will help us demonstrate our dedication to public safety and ensure we can continue providing these harmless, exciting experiences. Unfortunately, legal processes come with significant costs, and that's where we need your help.
