Hey everyone, my name is Landon Ziegler, and I’m writing this for me and my girlfriend, Bailey Kemp. Her dog Kai, who’s become like my dog too, needs help right now—more than we can give on our own.
Kai is a 5-year-old sweetheart with the most loving personality. He’s Bailey’s whole world, and honestly, he’s become a huge part of mine too. He’s the kind of dog that makes you feel better just by being near him.
But today, something awful happened. Bailey let Kai out to go potty, and out of nowhere, she heard him screaming in pain. She ran outside and found him lying there, unable to move his leg. When she brought him inside, she saw that it was completely broken. It was one of the hardest things she had ever seen—to see him hurting like that.
She took him to the vet right away, and after X-rays, they told her both bones in his leg were snapped clean through. He needs surgery to set the bones and give him a chance to heal. Without it, things could get even worse. The cost of the surgery and X-Rays is $10,000—an amount we just can’t afford on our own.
Kai means everything to us. He’s not just a dog—he’s family. He’s been there for Bailey through everything, and now it’s our turn to be there for him. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, or share this with others, it would mean so much to us. Every little bit helps us get closer to saving Kai’s leg and giving him the life he deserves.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting us and Kai during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us.
