This is Jasper! He is a 2.5 year old barn cat, is a fantastic mouser and as sweet as they come. His favorite things are chin scratches, being carried around, and french fries. On Sunday Dec. 1st I took Jasper to the emergency room. He seed to have trouble breathing. After x-rays and blood tests, he was diagnosed with Pyothroax. This is due to an infection which leads to pockets of puss in the chest cavity, putting pressure on his lungs. He is currently hospitalized and is in critical condition. The doctors are worried that the infection has spread and he might be septic. He has shown a little progress since Sunday but will most likely need to stay in the hospital for another few days. His borther Franklin was hit by a car at 1 year old. I couldn't save him but I ask that you please help me save Jasper. I have not given up hope and anything would help. Thank you so much!
