My name is Abdou, and today I am sharing my story with hope that kind people will help me survive.

For a long time, I have been suffering from severe kidney failure. To stay alive, I must go through dialysis several times every week. Dialysis is very exhausting and painful, but it is the only thing keeping me alive right now.

Because my condition is rare and complicated, the doctors have had to repeatedly open veins in my arms to connect me to the dialysis machine. Over time, my veins have been damaged from the many procedures. One by one, they have stopped working.

Today, the doctors have told me that they have almost no veins left to use for dialysis. Each time I go for treatment, they struggle to find a vein that still works. The last one may soon stop working as well.

If that happens, dialysis will no longer be possible for me.

A kidney transplant is now my only chance to live.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery, medical tests, hospital care, and medication in Morocco is far more than my family and I can afford. That is why I am humbly asking for your help.
