Help save Finn's eye

We adopted our puppy Finn from a shelter in May of last year. When we got him his eye was totally swollen shut, the lady that ran the shelter said he had just needed some eye drops and it would clear up, however after 2 months of drops, his eye wasn't getting any better. She said that it was probably just a genetic problem with his eye lid and not to worry. The lady at the shelter was extremely hard to get a hold of. I called and texted her for weeks trying to get ahold of her so she could have her vet look at his eye. It was close to a month before I decided to bring him to my own vet to take a look at him. My vet said that he had a severe eye infection and was swollen for so long that the eye lip rolled on into itself, causing a lot of corneal damage. We had to go see a specialist for his eye in Portland.  They said they could save his eye with an eyelid surgery, however its a very expensive procedure, and we are unable to pay for it all. If his eye is left like this he will end up loosing it. Please help Finn!
