Help us save Fink!
Our cutiepatootie cat, Fink, is in the hospital fighting for his life. He’s been diagnosed with a severe urinary tract infection (UTI) that has unfortunately spread and is now attacking his kidneys. His fever is dangerously high, and his kidney values are alarmingly elevated.
Fink has been through a lot in the past few months. He has a condition called an Inborn Error of Metabolism*, which means his body produces xanthine stones** in his urine. To address this, he underwent a surgery called a PU (Perineal Urethrostomy)***, which involved making the opening of his urethra larger to prevent these stones from blocking his ability to urinate. While the surgery successfully stopped the stones from getting stuck, it also made him more vulnerable to UTIs. With his unique anatomy, there were no warning signs when this infection began.
The emotional and financial toll of trying to keep Fink alive has been overwhelming. But we’ve reached a point where we can’t continue this battle alone. Every dollar raised will go directly towards his care, and we need your help to give him the chance to survive this life-threatening infection and recover.
Please consider donating to help save Fink. Your support means everything to us.
