Help Save Falcore: My Best Friend

   It was January 14, 2015. I woke up and went on social media to find a post about this white dog named Falcore. After 5 minutes of looking at his photo, and knowing he’s being sent to be euthanized in the next few days if not adopted, in the next two hours I filled out the adoption papers and he was mine.

     The last five years have been amazing with my bestest boy , Falcore. He was by my side in any major decision I made, was right next to me when I cried, wagging and zooming when I was happy. He was the perfect dog for me and nothing can separate us.

    January 3rd, 2020. Falcore is 6 years old. He’s been limping, so we decided to get some x rays to make sure nothing was broken. What we got instead was the worst news. He had the starts of osteosarcoma , bone cancer in his right rear knee. A biopsy would confirm.

I was and still am devastated. After speaking with the vet, his prognosis is good if we move quickly. A biopsy is needed, and if confirmed,
his right rear leg would be amputated. This would save his life, take his pain away, and make sure he lives the rest of his life happy and with his family.

The main issue is we have a baby on the way. All our money is going to hospital bills, baby supplies, and doctors appointments. The
last thing I want is for my best friend to die because we do not have the financial means. We have contacted organizations who are founded on the basis of helping families in need for assistance for dogs that have cancer, and while awaiting they recommended to crowd source

If any of you know me, you know of Falcore. He’s the most loveliest dog, with the best personality . He still has so much to live for and with us. We have lost two other pets in the last year and I’d be dammed if I loose another due to financial need.
