HELP save El Ciclon Tacos and Thrift Store

53575578_1609258497495491_r.jpegHelping others has always been in our nature. My wife and I opened our non-profit thrift store  2 years ago. We've had the pleasure of meeting many amazing locals who have constantly shown their support. We thrive on helping our community and helping those in need, there has been many times that we've gone to open our store and find homeless people sleeping next to the door trying to stay warm. We try to help them by providing them with warm clothes and shoes. This year more then any other year, many of us have faced hardships and even though my family and I  have struggled we try to keep a positive attitude and continue to try and push forward.

Just a year after we opened our thrift store we decided to open a taco shop right next door. Freshly made flour tortillas filled with nothing but deliciousness, just the way you get them in Baja California. This became our next staple in town. My family and I worked hard to get our little business going and create the best tacos Corona had to offer. Unfortunately shortly after opening our doors COVID19 hit and we were forced to close the doors to both the restaurant and thrift store.  Our dreams and hopes just shattered away. Just like millions of people out there, this pandemic has hit us hard and we've been struggling to stay afloat. In order to try and make our restaurant and store be a temporary closure and NOT permanent I've had to resort to doing random odds and end jobs, to not only maintain a roof over our head but to try and maintain our small businesses afloat to be able to re-open once we get the all clear. Unfortunately there is only so much I can do because of my rheumatoid arthritis.  There are days that I can barely get up due to the severity of the pain in my body. Regardless of all the challenges my family and I have encountered we refuse to give up and we will continue to try and stay afloat through this pandemic.

We've heard time and time again from the community how much they love our tacos and how helpful our thrift store has  been to community. We are grateful for your continuous support. Its been a long and tiring year for many of us,  we know things are hard and we are all just trying to stay afloat during these tiring times. My family and I  kindly ask for your support and donations to try and maintain our small businesses during this pandemic.  Every dollar will count and help us not loose our businesses and be able to re-open our doors to continue to serve our community.

From my family to yours, stay safe and healthy through these very tiring times. Thank you for your supporthttps://www.instagram.com/elciclontacos/ , we truly appreciate it.
