Help Save Coral Cliffs Climbing Gym!
Anyone who's rock climbed at Coral Cliffs Climbing Gym knows they've been a part of something special. Since 2011, the space has not only created some of the strongest climbers in South Florida, but the community has continued to grow non-stop through events and a concerted effort to keep the space affordable for everyone. For members, or anyone else who might know, the heartbeat of this gym is its owner: Abby Dione.
For over nine years, Abby has been working with great staff, setters and the community so that Coral Cliffs has gained national recognition. It is also extremely important to note that this gym is the only one owned and operated by a Black woman in the United States.
Since March 15th 2020, the fate of this community hub has been in question due to the virus pandemic. We will need to raise funds in record time to help Abby secure the lease to the building in light of all of the financial stress of dealing with COVID19, as well as the extra cost of being diligent and not re-opening prematurely. The fundraiser will run for 30 days!
We have an opportunity to give back to Abby and make sure this amazing gym can keep going Coral Strong for many more years!

We beat the threat of immediate closure, we helped with the extreme costs of navigating the covid19 crisis responsibly, we have helped with debt and now let’s push for Coral Cliffs to thrive. Let’s let the climbing industry know the kinds of gyms and individuals we want to see moving forward.
