Hi, we're Jade and Alex, and we're asking for help for our beloved cat, Blue. (Our little beanie)

Over a very short period of time, Blue has become suddenly and seriously unwell. He has lost over 20% of his body weight, and after an urgent veterinary visit we learned that his kidneys are swollen, indicating a potentially serious underlying condition. This came completely out of the blue — he had been eating, cuddling, and acting like himself until very recently.

Right now, Blue is in pain and needs immediate medical care, including:

- Pain relief

- IV fluids

- Antibiotics

- Blood tests and further diagnostics to understand what’s happening and how to treat it

The vets are doing everything they can, but the costs of emergency treatment, hospitalisation, and diagnostic tests are adding up very quickly. We are doing everything in our power to give him the care he needs, but we can’t manage this alone.

Blue isn’t “just a pet” he’s our companion, our comfort on hard days, and a constant presence in our lives. He's loved by his brother Kion, and the pair have been together since birth for their 6 years on Earth.

He trusts us completely, and we want to give him the best possible chance to recover and feel safe and comfortable again.
