Bella is a stray we found in my friend’s neighborhood, we took her in and called it fate because she was found and she fit right into our family. My girls love her, my husband loves her, and she healed a little part of us all by being in our lives for even such a short time. I started noticing 2 days ago after getting her on worm and flea prevention medicine that she had diarrhea that was getting worse and she would get up in the night and throw up, sometimes just phlegm but this morning is was undigested food. I felt that she was just a little lethargic yesterday as she cuddled all day with us, sometimes today I had a feeling that something could be wrong. I took off of school to take her to the vet and it turns out she has parvo, and they gave me three options, to send her home with medication and hope for the best, to take her to a 24/7 emergency clinic and give her IV overnight for a few days, or euthanize her. And I truly cannot bring myself to give up hope on a puppy I felt got a second chance by us taking her. The emergency clinic stay has the best prognosis, but my husband and I just don’t have the money to afford that, and if we could get any little donation we would hopefully be able to reach our goal and take her in to get care. If we don’t raise enough money than we will use it towards medicating her at home and hoping for the best or we will give the money back if we decide it’s just not worth it. Please even just a little will help, I’m just hoping that we can save her and give her the best life in our family.
