Help save Annie Revel's kitty Riley

My mommy, Annie Revel, really needs me… and we need your help.

She adopted me a month ago after I loudly meowed “take me!!” when she walked in the shelter.  She then found out I had head trauma (hit by a car breaking my jaw, bitten on the head by large animal, major infection, lotsa pain… and I’m only 2 months old!)  The shelter loved me enough to care for me, took out 2 bottom teeth, cleared up my infection and put me in the room for Annie to find me.

Annie was told I may need orthodontics down the road.  She was already in love with me (and me, her!) so she took a chance.  Her regular vet said I was fine in every way except my jaw, and we’d have to see how I grew.

I’ve always been a messy eater due to my jaw deformity, but last weekend my tongue swelled and I just drooled on my food, so my mommy took me to emergency.  My jaw is fused and I cannot open my mouth, and they told my mommy it would be around $8,000 -$9,500 to fix me (including follow-up care).
 
I’ve been a great comfort to her as she deals with the terminal cancer of her significant other of 21 years.  I purr all the time and cuddle on her neck at night.  She really needs me, and just cannot bear to lose me.  I have used up at least 4 out of my 9 lives so I do have a few left!  She is trying to scrape together the money to pay for my surgery (and possibly another down the road) and would appreciate any donation to help us so we can continue to care for each other.
