Help Save an Amazing Get-a-Way

Camps have the ability to reach people unlike any other program. If you’ve ever been involved in any type of camping ministry you probably have some very fond memories or stories to tell. Camps are a great way for people to connect with each other and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation away from the hustle and commitment of everyday life. Camps often have a story to tell but the most important thing is the story being written for each person who participates. Camps are a great place for people to meet Jesus and for those who are followers to grow in their walk with Him.

 At Breathing Life International we want to provide a camping environment where lives can be changed through the development and power of lasting relationships; a fresh look that focuses on the investment into the lives of one another. This investment is often called discipleship. Camps are one of the best discipleship tools available to churches and faith-based ministries.

So how can we create an environment that focuses on the building of relationships and ultimately disciples? Simple: Engage campers intentionally, purposefully and directly leading by example. Encourage campers to live out specific commitments or decisions that they have made at camp and equip them to continue in their walk with Jesus!

 Breathing Life International is partnering with Mountain Meadow Ranch in an effort to provide some assistance during very uncertain times. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an extraordinary impact on our entire economy not to mention not-for-profit ministries such as MMR in beautiful Payson, Arizona. Because of “physical distancing” guidelines as specified by the CDC MMR is in jeopardy of losing their entire camping season.

The Mountain Meadow Ranch Story

For over 30 years, Mountain Meadow Ranch has been used by God to reach countless lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The desire of MMR is to be a place where God is revealed through the Bible and through His creation. Our 70-acre property has been preserved in such a way that when you drive through our gates, you will see and experience the wonder of nature. Our hope is that every group that utilizes the camp with exalt Jesus Christ through their teaching, their worship and their fellowship together. We believe that spiritual truth from God’s Word changes lives. Our staff is solely committed to serving each user-group in order to set up the best environment for this this life change.

Mountain Meadow Ranch’s ministry is to provide a program/facility where campers will experience unique environments in a beautiful setting. They will receive intentional mentoring of God’s word and love, while developing relationships with friends, family, counselors, and staff through hands on programs. With hope that camp will be a key instrument in the life-long process of an intimate relationship with Jesus

                                    Mountain Meadow Ranch Bible Camp


First, I would like to thank Kerry and the men of Breathing Life for asking how they can help Mountain Meadow Ranch in this difficult time. Over the last few years, they have been a blessing in their expression of love to people and organizations around them. It is humbling to be around these men and their great reminder to look outward to our community and model Jesus.


I have been a part of the profound ministry of Mountain Meadow Ranch Bible Camp for 19 plus years and I have had the privilege of watching God take care of us. We have faced many challenges i.e. forest fires, droughts, storm damage, and failing infrastructure. We have always survived. I believe that the pandemic is just another challenge that we face. In all of our challenges people that love this place, have stepped up and provided help through prayer, hard work, and financial sacrifice.


Summer camps, in much of the nation, are being cancelled. At best, most camps will lose a portion of the summer schedule. This is creating a significant financial strain on all camps including Mountain Meadow Ranch Bible Camp. At this time, we do not know fully how the impact of this virus will affect MMR. Some of our groups have already had to make the difficult decision to cancel their spring or early summer camps. We can reasonably predict that camper numbers will be down. It's our hope that though the Go Fund Me campaign we will ease the financial strain and continue to fulfill our mission.

For the past 3 years, Breathing Life International has been utilizing MMR for POWERFUL men’s weekends! I cannot tell you how beautiful this camp is and how much you feel the presence of God there. Our camp started out as a weekend camp in April with approx. 40 men and has grown to 2 weekends a year reaching hundreds. We have also donated time, talent and resources to help MMR in that past few years as they rely a great deal on volunteers.

As a small non-profit we love this place and love how it speaks to and reaches men. But, that’s just us. Many churches from all over Arizona use MMR for their youth camps during the summer season reaching countless kids and adults with the gospel of Christ. I am asking all those who visit this campaign to financial give to help out MMR during this most difficult time. This GoFundMe campaign is set up in such a way that ALL funds that come in go directly to MMR and their ministry.
