Keep Adrian And Miriam In the Country

Donation protected

We need 300,000 signatures! Please sign the petition to US customs and boarder protection to get Adrian and his sister, Miriam,  their visas back.

Confusion, heartbreak, and uncertainty — these are just some of the emotions the Martinca family has experienced the past couple of days, as they learn Adrian and his little sister Miriam are being forced to leave the country after missing their I-94 renewal deadline by a matter of days. While working to get together donated laptops for students during testing season, it didn’t occur to the siblings that their focus on getting technology to students who need it most was at the expense of being kicked out of the country. And truthfully, I know if they had, they would have made the sacrifice all over again… because that's how committed the Martinca siblings are to helping the students they serve.

Adrian and Miriam have always put others' needs before their own. They have sacrificed everything in order to provide for students and their families, empowering over 10,000 students with donated laptops during the corona-virus pandemic alone. The very families depending on the siblings’ dream of making technology accessible for all, are now at risk of losing Adrian and Miriam, which means thousands of students won’t be gifted the resources they are so desperately relying on.

Adrian and Miriam have called America their home for over 14 years. Since moving here, they have been determined to not just fight for the freedom of their own family, but for families across the country. “Technology championed my families victory, and I want to provide that ability for families everywhere” Adrian shares in a recent interview. What he didn’t disclose, however, is that he is watching his dream slip through his fingers as he and his sister are being forced to leave the country.

I have witnessed the impact Adrian and Miriam have on the lives of the families they serve through their nonprofit Technology for the Future… and it's nothing short of life changing. They give students faith in their abilities to change the world and hope for their future. My hope is that America comes together to repay the favor.

Let’s show the Martinca siblings we believe in them as much as they believe in us!

Donations will go toward helping Adrian and Miriam pay for lawyers to fight to get their visa's back and toward helping to keep their mission alive during these difficult times, helping to pay for the expenses of their nonprofit, Technology for the Future.

For more information on their mission, visit the Technology for the Future  website.  They have an awesome video showing the work they've done with their program, Operation Dream Force
