I’m raising funds on behalf of my dear friend Anil Kumar and his wife Sunita Kumari, whose newborn son is fighting for his life after being born extremely premature at just 28 weeks and 4 days.

The baby is currently admitted in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Rainbow Children’s Medicare Pvt Ltd, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad (India). He is on assisted ventilation and receiving round-the-clock critical care as his tiny organs develop and stabilize.

This is a heartbreaking and uncertain time for the family. Despite their relentless efforts, the medical expenses have far exceeded what they can manage. The estimated total cost of treatment is ₹40,00,000 INR (approximately AUD 70,000) — covering the baby’s extended NICU stay, life-support treatment, diagnostics, and medicines.

Anil and his family have already exhausted all their savings and are now reaching out for urgent financial support to continue their baby’s treatment.
