She is here in the US on a work visa from the island of Jamaica. Back home in Jamaica are her 4 amazing children who are sacrificing their mother being in our country so that they don’t have to live in poverty. Just as Savana was getting settled and providing funds to her family to make her children’s life better, a category 5 hurricane ripped through Jamaica, leaving destruction in its path. Savana’s mother is graciously caring for her children so that she can provide them all a better life. But, the overwhelming need to rebuild is more than this young mother can do alone!
