Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers, 
 
I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to share the story of someone incredibly dear to me—my best friend, Sara Wood. 
 
In April, Sara was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was news that no one ever wants to hear, and it has turned her world upside down. As she bravely navigates this life-altering journey, she is now preparing for a double mastectomy scheduled for June 17th. This major surgery is a necessary step toward her recovery, but it also comes with a long and difficult healing process—physically, emotionally, and financially. 
 
While Sara focuses on fighting cancer and regaining her strength, she will be unable to work for an extended period of time. The financial strain of medical bills, daily living expenses, and lost income is adding an extra layer of stress to an already overwhelming situation. 
 
That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the burden and give Sara the time and space she needs to heal without the constant weight of financial stress. 
 
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering her essential living expenses and medical-related costs during this critical time.
