Well, who are we talking about, "Ife" the awesome Doberman that stole everyone's heart at Lovey's Grooming, or his person who gave him the most beautiful, short-lived life (07/20/23-07/16/25) any dog would have loved to have lived? Sarah is the G.O.A.T at dog grooming and is amazing with all animals. I really admire her work ethic and dedication to things, and how she knows her stuff. Working next to her, I heard all about Ife's milestones. "Man, she was proud of that dog." It was sudden; two whole years and she's devastated. She didn't get the chance to stud him out as planned and get a puppy of his bloodline. She worked three jobs to get him 6k, and all the time she spent in training - oh my goodness, Ife was Rolondo's (another coworker) favorite doggie that came to the shop. We could take our dogs to work with us. Ife leaves behind his brother and sister, Adia, Imala, and Amity, and his broken-hearted Mama Sarah Thompson. I'll introduce myself; I'm Angela Swoboda, aka Torrey BeUtahful Grooming, i happened to be at the shop that day when Pam got the phone call (Sarah and I mentored). I actually went into Lovey's to just work, help out, and see pets, and refresh my skills. Sarah left for the day; I stayed back at the shop when Pam got the news, Sarah bawling he passed away in his kennel from bloat. Like, why!! Why do bad things happen to good people!!! Why!!??? If I didn't go independent in grooming, I would never have left Pam's, and the work environment is great - people, more like family. We are all saddened by this news; it hurts our hearts. Anything helps; she just wants not to replace Ife but wants a part of his bloodline. She is super familiar and educated with the breed. She is deserving of this more than ever, just her in general as a human being…. Help this love story between a girl and her dog not end just yet…. Thanks in advance….
