Hi Everyone,

I don’t usually ask for help, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t get through this on my own.

A couple of years ago, I had a car accident, and I purchased “Roxie”. A little less than three months later, the engine blew. We ended up taking the engine apart (mostly my backyard mechanic cousin Coltin doing all the work) and taking the engine head to a machinist shop, and they revamped some valves, and we put it back together. Roxie has been on and off working ever since for other isssues.

My car, Roxie, which I depend on everyday, needs a new engine. Without it, I don’t have reliable transportation to get to work and teach private music lessons, go play my music performances and gigs, or carry out normal errands and everyday life.

Recently, the engine has failed beyond repair….and we’re back to square one. I’ve looked at rebuilding again, salvage parts—but the only realistic solution is to replace the engine completely. The cost is more than I can cover right now, and I’ve been put between a rock and a hard place.

This is a large ask, but if I get the funds to purchase the new engine, this would give me a fresh start with my car.

Purchasing a replacement engine (used or new, depending on what I can afford with help)

Necessary parts to complete the Swap

Installation costs are minimal with the help of my cousin, Coltin, and others who will be assisting me, but I’d love to give them a little something to pay them for their time.

I’m doing everything I can to keep costs as low as possible, but it’s still more than I can manage and cover alone.
