Help Sarah get to the World Blind Theatre Festival

I am a blind professional aerialist from Australia and I have the rare opportunity to take my solo theatre show to the world blind theatre festival in Croatia. I just found out I didn’t get my grant to travel there, so I’m asking for your help. I am devastated but i have not lost hope.
The festival is called the 11th BIT Festival, and it is very special to attend. It has been my dream to go for many years.
As a performer in circus and physical theatre, it is a very lonely road having been the only professional blind aerialist for many years. I urgently need to raise funds to attend the festival so that I can connect with my very small community across the world of blind theatre makers, and show the people of Croatia what we have to offer.
The funds will be used for airfare and local transport costs, meals, and all the other travel costs associated with going to the festival. The festival is very soon, so I’m hoping you can help.
Blind performers make groundbreaking work and I’m so exccited to meet people from my community. Your support would mean a lot to me.
The show I am invited to present at the festival is my Green Room Award winning solo show, called Koo Koo the Bird Girl. This show is an important story about a historical blind woman who was a performer in the 1930s.
