Dear All, I am Mohammed, and I am fundraising for my niece Sara Ahmed, and she would like to share her story with you.
*For Arabic language please continue below* My name is Sara Ahmed, a 20-year-old with unwavering ambitions and dreams, undeterred by numerous challenges, including a lifelong battle with scoliosis, a spinal condition. Despite undergoing two unsuccessful surgeries, my condition worsened, leaving me with lasting weakness in my right leg. Growing up in Gaza, access to proper medical care has been severely restricted, making it difficult for me to pursue treatment. However, these challenges have not satisfied my dreams. Gifted with a passion for drawing, my talent has garnered recognition from teachers and peers alike, leading me to win several competitions. This passion led me to pursue Multimedia studies at Al-Azhar University, where I excelled in my first year. Tragedy struck on October 7, 2023, when our home was destroyed, and I lost my closest friend and strongest supporter. Forced to flee multiple times amidst bombings, my dreams seemed out of reach. Yet, even in the face of adversity, I found solace in my art. With just a pencil and a blank sheet of paper, I continued to create, believing in the power of my creativity to transcend the chaos around me. Now, more than ever, I seek your support to continue my education and acquire the necessary tools to pursue a career in animation, a lifelong dream of mine. Your generosity will not only help me rebuild my future but also empower me to leave a lasting impact through my art.

لكن هذا العائق لم يوقفني عن الحلم فقد وهبني الله موهبة الرسم التي لفتت أنظار معلماتي ومدرستي وفزت بالعديد من المسابقات ما جعلني اجد شغفي في الرسم وايقنت انني اريد ان أتخصص في تخصص ذا طابع فني ف التحقت بجامعة الأزهر ودرست تخصص ال وسائط المتعددة وحصلت على امتياز في السنة الأولى لكن ما ان وضعت قدمي على بداية الحلم حتى انهار في ٧ أكتوبر ٢٠٢٣ وحلت علينا أسوأ ايام حياتنا فتدمر بيتنا وفقدت أعز صديقاتي وداعمتي الأولى ونزحنا ٣ مرات هربا من القصف تضورنا جوعا وعانينا من الفقد والخوف أجلت أحلامي ووضعتها على الرف لأتعايش مع هذه الحياة البائسة التي فرضت علينا اعتقادا ان حياتنا انتهت وقد كُتب علينا العيش وسط هذا الدمار دون أحلام أو تعليم أو أدنى مقومات الحياة لكن هناك شيء بداخلي أراد أن أكمل مسيرتي فما الإنسان إلا أثر وانا اريد ان اضع بصمتي في هذا العالم قبل انا يختارنا الإسرائيليون هدفا لقصفه وتدميره لم اتوقف عن الرسم حتى بعد مضي ٧ شهور على هذه الإبادة بل حاولت ان تتدرب أكثر وأكثر رغم نقص الإمكانيات والمعدات التي أحتاجها فقط ورقة بيضاء وقلمي لاطلق العنان لمخيلتي في رسم الشخصيات وتفريغ طاقتي في الرسم لأنني اؤمن ان بداخلي شغف كاف لتصنع طريقي في هذه الحياة ولأننا نحيا مرة واحدة إنشادكم لمساعدتك في إكمال تعليمي واحصل عل الأدوات اللازمة لتؤهلني في العمل في إحدى الشركات أو اصنع شركة خاصة في الرسوم المتحركة والتي طالما حلمت بها اريدكم ان تكونوا سببا في تكوين الشخص الذي أطمح أن اكون حتى لا اتلاشى وسط هذا الركام والدمار واتخلى عن هدفي الذي أطمح لتحقيقه اريدكم ان تعلموا ان كل تبرع يبنيني يوما بعد يوم ويجدد شغفي وطاقتي ويقويني طالما انه لا يزال هنالك ناس اخيار في هذا العالم يساعدون من يستحق المساعدة
