<div>[UPDATED] My current roommate hasn't paid rent or utilities for 5 months. I made a rent cost error, and as a result, his behavior has become passive-aggressive, despite attempts at negotiation. After I served an unlawful detainer, he got an SF Bar mediator. We are currently in mediation and could end up going to court if he doesn't sign the agreement we have come up with. The terms of the contract are that I dismiss the unlawful detainer I served and the small claims that would collect the back rent, and he would leave by November 30th. If he doesn't sign, he would stay longer without pay, and I'd have to get a lawyer to help me in court.

<div>As I'm still seeking gainful employment, I can’t cover the full rent and utilities on my own, so I've been borrowing money to maintain my home. I'm also a trauma survivor and am doing my best to regulate my nervous system and return to an open heart, despite this situation. I’m humbly asking for support. Contributions will go directly toward returning money I owe, stabilizing my housing, self-care, and paying bills.
