Help Santiago sisters after Maria

My name is Diana L. Santiago, and I live in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with two of my sisters, one of which has learning disabilities. On September 20, 2017 Hurricane Maria caused considerable damage to our home. Our apartment stood to 160 mph winds, destroying our balcony, flooding all of it, breaking the kitchen window even through the shutters, and damaging my bedroom ceiling . Most of our possessions are wet. In order to make my apartment liveable, we need supplies and assistance to clean it up, remove water and debris, salvage our clothing, repair what's broken, and adquire equipment to sustain us for months without power.
I am reaching for you since my current employment status is undetermined. I am a contractor at a company on the hurricane path, and I don't know how long before I will be called back to work. My savings are being depleted fast, and insurance reimbursement will take a long time.
I will be posting updates on expenses covered with evidence, and any money left or reimbursement from insurance will be donated to relief initiatives in Puerto Rico.
Recovery efforts in the island have been very slow. There is so much to do. I want to help others, but first I need to make sure my family is ok. My little sister needs to return to "normality" as soon as possible. With your help, we will make it happen.
