I am a caretaker of stray cats and kittens in my neighborhood. I feed them, provide (heated) shelter, and unconditional love. They all know they have a safe place.

Recently, one of my young cats disappeared for quite some time. He found his way back but with a huge infected wound on his front leg. My boy Sandy had been shot, and his leg was just hanging. After a week of trying to catch him and take him to the vet, I was finally able to do so today. Sandy has to have a full amputation of his leg. I am having the surgery done because he deserves a full, happy life. Not only will he have the amputation, but he will be neutered as well. Today, he had all of his shots, antibiotics, and pain meds.

This will be a very costly surgery, and I am asking for anything that will help offset my medical costs. This was a cruel thing to happen to this poor boy through no fault of his own. Thank you.
