<div>After a long and brave battle with liver disease, Sandy has been officially placed on the transplant list. This is the beginning of a critical journey that requires her to temporarily relocate to Salt Lake City for the surgery and recovery, which could take anywhere from four to six months. The cost of transportation, temporary housing near the hospital, and the large portion of medical expenses not covered by insurance is overwhelming.
