My name is Sandranica, and I’m reaching out for support as I work to keep my household stable during a very challenging time. I’m a full-time working mom to two amazing daughters, Kamhyia (14) and Malaysia (12), and we share our home with four lively chihuahuas. Over the past few years, I’ve faced ongoing medical issues that have left me in chronic pain and searching for answers. Despite having insurance, I’ve had to pay out of pocket for countless doctor visits—chiropractic, neurology, rheology, orthopedics, and more. My savings have been drained as I’ve tried every possible treatment, from medical appointments to natural remedies, just to keep functioning for my family. The pain affects me daily, sometimes forcing me to miss work or leave early, but I keep pushing forward because my girls and our pets depend on me.

On top of the medical bills, I was hit with an unexpected car expense when debris on the highway damaged my vehicle, leading to a costly repair. I’ve also had to buy things like a TENS machine, heating pads, vitamins, and supplements to manage my health. I’ve reached out for help from the city and my loved ones, but haven’t found the support we need. As a survivor of 10 years of narcissistic abuse, I’m proud to say I’m now at peace and healing, but the financial impact of my health struggles has made it hard to keep up with rent and bills. I’m determined not to let my kids suffer because of my pain, and I’m asking for help so we can stay afloat and continue moving forward. Anything you can give will make a difference for us.
