My name is Sandra-Mae, and I am a musician, actor and writer.
I'm a singer, sax player, song writer, voice actor and guitarist with a degree in Music in Jazz Studies (on saxophone).
Born in Richmond, Canada of Dutch parents, I moved to London 18 months ago to finally take the leap and pursue music and the arts as a full-time career.

Since moving to London, I have written a full-length musical (book and music) with my writing partner. I have roughly another 9 songs to write for the musical, for a total of 20. Now I have taken the 10 already-written songs to finally record a full-length album of my original music.
This has been an ambition of mine for as long as I can remember.
The type of music that will be at the heart of this musical, and on my album is Soul/Funk/R&B (with a hint of jazz) which is the music I grew up listening to.
My inspiration comes from such legends as Etta James, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Gloria Gaynor, The Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin,George Benson, Ella Fitzgerald, Dexter Gordon, Frank Sinatra, Astrud Gilbert, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and more.

I cannot do all of this on my own. I don't think anyone can.
As a full-time artist living in London, balancing career and financial obligations is almost impossible, especially when you're looking for an extra £25,000 to record an album with London's best musicians and producers!
I have the talent and the drive to see this through.
Sometimes the pieces fall into place at just the right time, and that's why I need your help Now.
