As you might all know, our dear Sanam recently made a big move to start studying her second master's, and she is due to deliver in the month of April.

This is her first baby, in a completely different country and culture, and quite frankly, Sanaam has no family here yet. This fundraiser is to help set up a small shindig for Sanaam to comfort her before her delivery as well as a breather as she is also still a student.

A couple of us started talking, and we figured the best way to set this up is to request contributions financially and food-wise.

We currently have a budget of $80, which would cater to decorations and snacks. Truthfully, the ability of funding dictates if we would be able to go towards the catering route (and in case anybody can bring something to share, that is still greatly appreciated!). If we opt to do a medium feed catering of:

1. Chicken (comes with pita, tzatziki, tahini, hot sauce) and falafel from the Mediterranean Grill, it is an additional $135.

- If we add pistachio/walnut baklava, the total is $175.

2. Buffet at Taziki's of Grilled Potatoes, Chicken Kabobs, Tzatziki Sauce, and Mediterranean Salad for $155.

Adding food our maximum goal comes up to $250❤️ and any left over will be used to plan for a gift for her ❤️
