<div>I’m writing today to let you know that I’ve updated our fundraising goal to $50,000. This change comes after learning that both my daughter Sa’Moryia and I will need to be in the hospital for several months. It’s an incredibly difficult time, and there are a lot of unexpected expenses that have come up.

<div>While we’re in the hospital, my other children will be staying in different family homes. I want to make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and have everything they need while we’re apart. It’s hard enough being away from each other, and I don’t want them to have to worry about anything else.

<div>I’m also planning ahead for when Sa’Moryia is ready to come home. She will need special care and equipment, and I want to be fully prepared to give her everything she needs to recover and thrive.
