Hi everyone, my name is Valeria and I’m from Italy.

I started this campaign to help my friend Samir and his family, who live in Gaza strip and are struggling to survive.

He can not do this by himself, because this platform requires an EU/US bank account to receive funds, so I’ll collect for him and send them via bank transfer, as we managed to do before successfully

But now we need as much help as possible since Samir was wounded by shrapnels 2 weeks ago, trying to reach aid distribution points. The medical costs are high, and they have barely nothing.

As you can see in the photos, Samir and his family live in harsh conditions. They fled many times, trying to escape bombs and violence, with little comfort to substain them.

During this months, he never lost his kindness, hope in humanity and determination to strive, and continued his studies online.

This is a message Samir sent me for you:

”My name is Samir, and I come from Palestine. I have a big family, and we’ve been facing many challenges recently due to difficult circumstances in our region. Despite the hardships, I am determined to keep moving forward and support my family in every way I can. I believe education is the key to a better future, and I work hard every day to improve myself and help those around me.

Eleven members of my family and I are going through a very difficult time. My sister’s husband was martyred on May 13th, and since then, my sister has been living with us. We face many challenges, including financial difficulties and the need for basic necessities. I also have a head injury that affects our lives. Any support or donation will help us overcome this hardship and provide a better life for our family. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
