Help Samantha Jane's Mom Ellyn Polay’s Memorial

My mother, Ellyn Polay, is in the final stages of dying from Lung Cancer and now requires around the clock care ASAP, but her awesome Insurance with the wonderful American medical system won't pay for it.
I'm asking for funds to pay for a round-the-clock caregiver or an in-person facility to help care for my mother until her inevitable death, for however long or short that may be (making it difficult to know an exact amount.)
A brief rundown of how we got here:
-She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer over a year ago.
-She was officially diagnosed as "incurable" in October.
-She has been on Hospice care with people checking in on her a couple times a week for a few months now.
-In the past few days her condition has deteriorated. She's having a hard time breathing and getting in and out of bed. She's fallen alone in her apartment and cut herself and been found by friends an unknown amount of time later. It's become very dangerous for her to be alone, but insurance won't pay for more care and we don't have the money to pay for it out of pocket.
I am an only child (and so is she), so there is no other family to help, no brothers or sisters or children or nieces , etc. We are both single. I also live in California and she lives in Florida, making it extra difficult for me to be her caregiver. All of this is why I'm asking for your help, gracious internet viewers.
Any excess funds raised will go toward helping me fly from LA to FL, and inevitable end-of-life costs such as cremation, moving her belongings and caring for her dog, and putting on a memorial/posthumous art show (per her wishes), since she is a brilliant artist and you all should be able to see her life's work.
