Help Sally Jane with Surgery

My name is Sally Jane Black, and I am asking for your help. I am a trans woman seeking bottom surgery (also known as sexual reassignment surgery or gender confirming surgery). I am an activist, an office worker, and an amateur film critic, and I have needed this surgery for as long as I can remember. Though I am currently trying to get my insurance company to help cover the surgery, it does not look hopeful. Even if they do cover it, it will only be a fraction of the cost, and like most trans women, I certainly cannot afford to pay tens of thousands of dollars.

I am asking for your help. The fundraising goal will cover surgery, one-week post-surgical care, transportation, and other needs. I will be receiving this surgery in Arizona, though the date is not currently set (I will update as soon as I have it), and I have friends in the area who will help with lodging.

Please, help me get the surgery I need to finally have some comfort with my body. I have spent far too long struggling with dysphoria and depression because of this. Thank you.
