That’s when I learned her story. <strong>Salimah is currently homeless, living in a shelter with her five children.</strong> As her rent went up without prior notice, she was unable to afford it, and the landlord changed the locks on her and her children. She has been doing everything to get back on her feet. She works in the Bronx at a park and is doing everything she can to provide for her children.
