Hi, I'm Sal. I'm currently living in a hotel with my mom after being wrongfully evicted from our apartment. We are struggling currently - we need to make it to June, after that we'll have the money to stay in the hotel.

Due to a medical condition, both me and my mother are unable to withstand heat. Being homeless and out on the streets is not just dangerous to our mental health, but physical health as well. We both have EDS and POTS, which can, among other things, cause passing out from heat much easier, becoming dehydrated much easier, and makes walking/standing for long periods nearly impossible. Being on the streets would also make it impossible to get medication, and both my mother and I struggle from heart conditions. Without my medication, I am at risk of heart attack due to tachycardia. We currently do not have a vehicle, making this harder.

We ask for help to afford to stay in our hotel room and have food until we get an apartment and/or both of us get jobs. The original goal was just to get to June, but prices are high nowadays. We're doing the best we can. The original goal was 600, but we have raised it to make it more accurate to living costs (food, a place to stay, necessities)

I promise the money will only go to the room, food, and other necessities.
