Saidou 20 years old, and his siblings are currently living in lockdown. According to Saidou, these people's income is depending on cutting firewood and selling it - and it is now forbidden.
Saidou's dream is to gain enough funds to complete his school education and to find a job so that he can become financially independent. Now he has started his own shop but still needs support. His family includes Mother Mariatou 42 years, Stepmother Binta 35 years, Ejatou 13 years, Hawa & Adama 7 years old twins, Bubacarr 9 years old.
Who am I? My name is Rasmus Pekkanen and I am currently a student and blogger.
I have known Saidou since May 2020 when I met him online. And I trust Saidou's word. He was able to provide images and videos of proof about his situation. We are communicating mainly through Snapchat and Facebook.
Thank you everyone who helped us to get 2000 euros but more is needed because there is not enough money for the food products.
With 2000 euros Saidou was able to start his own shop but according to Saidou more support is still needed because the shop needs materials, products, etc.
This is what Saidou wrote to me:
Hello, brothers and sisters in the almighty name of Jesus Christ. Hope you all have a beautiful day. I’m updating our campaign about the emergency situation here right now. I’m rising income here for my family and fellow brothers and sister’s in Christ. Lockdown it’s to be added next month because the cases are increasing every day. I’m raising this campaign to buy food and shelter, pay bills like electricity, water, and medicinal bills monthly bills and I need to fill up our shop and hope with that shop I and my family will be able to live sufficiently. All the donations money will be spent on the family's needs and 25 percent of the donations will be given out to random people in our village. We seek donations from you followers of Jesus Christ however big or small it may be. Be blessed thank you
