Help Sadula Rose Montessori's Equitable Education Vision

Hi, my name is Angelica Adisa, I am a Montessori Teacher Leader, social entrepreneur, and trailblazer. I and my partner, Mariyama Ajamu believe our youngest children deserve the most beautiful spaces and learning methods to learn and grow! Our mission at Sadula Rose Montessori School is to remove all barriers for our children to thrive, be nurtured, and reach their highest potential through an authentic Montessori approach. Our motto is: "Awakening the Natural Genius in EVERY child." Our aim is to bring Montessori to areas that would otherwise not have Montessori available to them. This vision started from the pangs that I felt in my heart knowing that my children and other children who did not have the financial resources could not access a Montessori education. WHY? Montessori started in the impoverished towns of Italy, but now had become a space where only the wealthy could obtain the benefits that Montessori provided. Sadula Rose Montessori's goal is to change and level the playing field! We are an equitable school and would like to spread that equity to all of the lives we touch. Our school not only focuses on the child, but also the parent, and the community. The money we raise will help assist us to bring services to the neighborhood ( i.e., birthing education, nutrition and health, self-sufficiency, and financial support) we serve, raise money for scholarships, arts and culture for children, do renovation work, and beautify our environment.
