<div>We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to help the Streater family during an incredibly challenging time. Sadie is a smart, sassy, creative 4 year old who can’t wait to start kindy next year. She loves to learn and is happiest playing in the park and drawing with her family. Unfortunately she has been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that forms in the tissues, muscles, or bones. The Streater family, residing in Gunnedah, has been plunged into a whirlwind of emotions as they navigate through Sadie's diagnosis and upcoming treatments.

<div>Sadie's journey began just five weeks ago when the first signs of this devastating illness appeared. The family quickly sought medical attention and were referred to John Hunter Hospital last week for surgery to remove the tumour. Unfortunately, due to the aggressive nature of the cancer, the surgery was not possible at that time. Now, with the diagnosis confirmed, Sadie is set to undergo a series of critical medical procedures, starting with an MRI, PET scan, and bone marrow biopsy. Subsequent surgeries are planned to address fertility preservation and the installation of a permanent surgical line into her neck.

<div>In the upcoming months, Sadie will face a challenging and gruelling regimen of chemotherapy, radiation, and additional surgeries. The emotional and financial toll on the Streater family is immense, and we are calling on the generosity of the community to provide them with the support they desperately need.

<div>While Sadie is bearing the brunt of this painful time, her whole family is being affected. Mum Rebecca has put her counselling career on hold so she can be by Sadie’s side 24/7. Dad Luke continues to work and care for Sadie’s little sister Evie who is desperately worried about her big sister.

<div>Financial issues will add another layer of stress that the family must cope with among their worry and heartbreak. Its going to be long, stressful and expensive road ahead.
